Join UCLA's First Lady, Mrs. Carol Block, and your fellow Staff Assembly members, in cheering on the UCLA Women's Basketball team as they face off against USC on Sunday, February 24! We will come together for a lunchtime reception in the Morgan Center Press Room and Hall of Fame then move on to newly renovated Pauley Pavilion for the game. This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to meet the First Lady in an informal setting, enjoy good food, win raffle prizes, experience our historic sports arena, and support Bruin athletics. The event is sponsored by the Chancellor's Office and UCLA Staff Assembly. Sign up now, space is limited!
The event will be co-hosted by UCLA Athletics. The package includes:
• Two complimentary tickets to the game
• Free admission for two to Mrs. Block's VIP Pre-Game Reception in Hall of Champions at the J.D. Morgan Center.
• Raffle Prizes
The reception will begin at 12:30PM on Sunday, February 24th. Dress code is game day casual UCLA spirit blue and gold. Light refreshments will be provided.
The application deadline is Wednesday, February 13, 2013. A random selection process will choose 25 respondents to attend the event (each person may bring one guest). Those who are selected will be notified by Tuesday, February 19. To ensure that the maximum number may participate, those who have been selected to attend past VIP Reception and game may not apply again.
